Radisson Edwardian London Heathrow (Mike)
On visiting the hotel, I had expectations of a very busy traditional airport hotel and was pleasantly surprised. An easily accessible hotel on the Heathrow Strip oozing elegance and grace with beautiful chandeliers throughout the hotel. The bedrooms were very smart and simple and the Polo Bar ‘very inviting’ and relaxing. The staff supplied professional service but really took the time to make sure that I had everything I needed. I was also surprised with how modern and stylish the meetings room were which blended in beautifully with the rest of the hotel.
Danesfield Park Hotel & Spa (Jackie)
On arriving at Danesfield Park I was amazed by its overall beauty. From driving up a very impressive sweeping drive to sitting in front of an open fire place in the Lounge. The beautifully maintained country house was the perfect get away and pampering / indulge yourself venue. It had fabulous gardens which offered a variety of outdoor pursuits for the more adventurous guest.
Thistle Euston Hotel (Suzanne)
A simple hotel not trying to be something that it is not. Thistle Euston definitely kept its standards up and supplied all the necessities within the bed rooms. (Trouser Press, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities, TV with satellite and Internet). The Faya restaurant was a quaint Mediterranean style restaurant supplying a real Mediterranean fun ambience. Definitely value for money. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. A little Gem of a hotel!
Holiday Inn Maidenhead (Francesca)
Francesca recently visited The Holiday Inn Maidenhead and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a great location just off the motorway and with train links to Paddington in under 20 minutes. There is plenty of free parking on site and once you get past the rather 60’s exterior you will find a modern and contemporary interior. The bar lounge area has recently been updated and is busy with business men holding small meetings/interviews as well as people enjoying the fantastic hot chocolate they do.
Hilton St Anne’s (Francesca)
St Anne’s Manor is situated just outside of Bracknell just minutes from the motorway. However when going down the driveway you see horses and feel that you are in the middle of the countryside! The staff are incredibly friendly and can not do enough to help. You can have the choice of a modern room or upgrade to a four-poster. The grounds are beautifully maintained and perfect for summer barbeques. This hotel is the perfect compromise between a business hotel and a place to go and relax.
Sheraton Skyline - London Heathrow (Jackie)
Set on the Heathrow strip the Sheraton Skyline is a great location for business travellers. The hotel has a nice feel to it with a modern look. The meeting rooms are state of the art and look very plush. My personal favourite area of the hotel is The Sky Garden a renowned feature of the hotel, an indoor heated pool surrounded by a tropical garden it’s the perfect setting for events and the ideal place for cocktail parties or themed events.
The Runnymede Hotel: (Francesca)
As soon as you walk into the Runnymede, it is obvious that it is a popular business hotel. Interviews and general meetings are taking place in the main foyer making the hotel look very busy. However, as soon as stepping outside you can see why. The surroundings are gorgeous and overlook the river where a number of groups are having a whale of a time, dragon boat racing. The hotel also has a separate area for conferences ensuring total privacy all with up to date technology. Overall, a very impressive venue with a great business atmosphere.
